Airborne Forces Display

The Airborne Forces Display, opened by Lt. Gen. Sir Michael Gray in June 2000, includes a detailed relief model of the area near Caen, including the Pegasus Bridge and the Merville Battery. This region was the focus of operations for 6 Airborne Division in June 1944.

There is an audio commentary, uniformed figures showing the distinctive airborne 'Red Beret' and a display of relevant artefacts.
